Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 11, 2015

Here at Funclips we recognize that your privacy is very important, and to keep you informed about our privacy practices we ask that you please read the guidelines described below. Keep in mind that because Funclips is a growing Website and internet technologies are constantly evolving, these guidelines are subject to change and any said changes will be posted on this page. Any material changes from current practices will be posted on the main page of this Website to serve as notice. Funclips is not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of Websites to which it may link.

Personal Information

During registration for membership, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, birth date, gender, postal/zip code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. For some financial products and services we may also ask for more information. We usually collect personal information directly from you although sometimes we may use agents or service providers to do this for us. When you are online, we collect information regarding the pages within our network that you visit. We may also acquire lists from other sources, both from other companies and from other public documents. For each visitor on our Website, our web server automatically recognizes only the consumer's domain name, but not the e-mail address (where possible). We do not collect information on consumers who browse our Website.

Web Site Use Information

Similar to other commercial Web Sites, our Web Site utilizes a standard technology called "cookies" (see explanation below, "What Are Cookies?") and Web server logs to collect information about how our Web Site is used. Information gathered through cookies and Web server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our Web Site, and the Web Sites visited just before and just after our Web Site. This information is collected on an aggregate basis. None of this information is associated with you as an individual.

How Do We Use the Information That You Provide to Us?

Broadly speaking, we use personal information for purposes of administering our business activities, providing customer service and making available other products and services to our customers and prospective customers. Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our Web Site, new services and special offers we think you will find valuable. The lists used to send you product and service offers are developed and managed under our traditional corporate standards designed to safeguard the security and privacy of our customers' personal information. As a customer, you will be given the opportunity, at least once annually, to notify us of your desire not to receive these offers. Specifically speaking, our Advertising Sponsors, whom provide the deal (or discount or coupon) offers on this Site will receive ongoing list of customers name along with a unique registration code for managing customers who have purchased deal offers. The Advertising Sponsors will not receive your email address originally used for membership registration at this site.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies help us collect important business and technical statistics. The information in the cookies lets us trace the paths followed by users to our Web Site as they move from one page to another. Web server logs allow us to count how many people visit our Web Site and evaluate our Web Site's visitor capacity. We do not use these technologies to capture your individual email address or any personally identifying information about you although they do permit us to send focused online banner advertisements or other such responses to you. A cookie is a piece of data that a Website transfers to an individual's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies can facilitate a user's ongoing access to and use of a Site, and they allow us to track usage patterns and to compile data that can help us improve our content and target advertising. If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows you to deny or accept the cookie feature. But you should note that cookies may be necessary to provide you with features such as merchandise transactions or registered services.
